PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of taking time to store a vehicle by taking in an exclusive pallet for a high-roof vehicle or a standard vehicle to be stored on an empty parking floor, to lower an elevating floor to the first floor in storing the vehicle for pallet type mixed storage multistory parking of the high-roof vehicles and standard vehicles. SOLUTION: This mixed storage multistory parking system for the high-roof and standard vehicles comprises multistage parking floors 3, 4 for the high-roof vehicles and standard vehicles provided adjacently to a hoistway 2 for the elevating floor 1; lateral movement guide devices provided at the elevating floor and each parking floor to transfer an occupied pallet and an empty pallet from the elevating floor to the parking floor and from the parking floor to the elevating floor; and a pallet transfer device provided at the elevating floor to put the pallet on the elevating floor onto the parking floor and to take the pallet on each parking floor onto the elevating floor. The system is constituted not to allow the pallet to exist in one place each out of the parking floors for the high-roof vehicles and the parking floors for the standard vehicles.
