PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary washing device, simple in constitution, securing the sanitation of a human body washing nozzle device, and also making a user feel easy sufficiently. SOLUTION: In this sanitary washing device, a space 210 is formed between a nozzle 30 and a nozzle cover 200S, and a gap 211 communicating the outside (a space in a toilet stool 600) with the space 210 is formed between the tip of the nozzle 30 and the lower end of the nozzle cover 200S. Nozzle washing steam jetted from a nozzle washing hole 24 of the nozzle 30 in nozzle washing flows in the direction of an arrow Q to flow into the space 210, and the space is filled with the steam. Thus, when steam pressure (steam quantity) in the space 210 exceeds saturated steam pressure (saturated steam quantity), the nozzle washing steam becomes steam ST. Since the steam pressure of nozzle washing steam flowing from the space 210 to the outside through the gap 211 is higher than the saturated steam pressure of the outside, the nozzle washing steam becomes the steam ST.
