The headrest for the seat in a motor vehicle has an impact element (13) movable relative to a support in the event of a crash, and a cover section (20) fitted on the support and/or on the impact element. At least one catch clip with a mouth to accommodate a bolt is provided for the fastening of the cover section on the support or impact element. The cover section has through-holes for headrest support rods, and is pivotable around the connecting axis of the through-holes.
