PURPOSE: A low power consumption and high slew rate operation amplifier for driving a flat panel display is provided which uses a differential input amplification stage having a low current at a normal state and a high current at a slew state and at the same time enabling rail-to-rail input. CONSTITUTION: According to the operational amplifier comprising a class-AB differential input amplification stage and a class-AB output stage and amplifying a differential signal, the class-AB differential input amplification stage enables a rail-to-rail driving by using a plurality of class-AB differential input stages in parallel. And the class-AB output stage includes an output buffer buffering an output of the class-AB differential input amplification stage.
