PURPOSE: An online loan system using a mobile phone and the ARS(Auto Response System), and an operating method thereof are provided to inquire a loan by transmitting the data related to the loan through the mobile phone, make a loan company automatically respond a loan inquiry by using the ARS, and advance a certification process by performing face matching through an Internet connecting device having a video camera. CONSTITUTION: The mobile phone(12) outputs the loan related input/output windows by connecting to a loan company server(16), and transmits the inputted information to the loan company server. A certification server(14) stores the encrypted loan information transmitted from the loan company server, detects the encrypted loan information matched with a loan information request from the mobile phone, and transmits it to the loan company server. The loan company server transmits a page related to a loan application request of the mobile phone, processes/stores the information inputted through the input window, and transmits the encrypted loan information to an ARS server(22). The ARS server performs automatic responses and loan advances for the loan application request by connecting to the loan company server.
