<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm tone localization device capable of easily and surely informing a user of an abnormality generation place. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU block 1 always checks whether a sensor number or a peripheral equipment number (alarm event) is outputted from interfaces 2, 4 or not. When the alarm event is detected, the CPU block 1 reads out a filter coefficient corresponding to the sensor number or the peripheral equipment number from a storage block 12 and sets the read filter coefficient in a virtual sound image processing block 7. A sound source block 6 generates an alarm tone signal K and outputs the signal K to the block 7. The outputted alarm tone signal K is supplied to speakers 9, 10 through an FIR filter of the block 7. Since a filter coefficient of the FIR filter is previously set so that a sound image is localized on the position of the sensor or the peripheral equipment in which abnormality is generated, the user can hear a beep tone from the abnormality generation place. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
