<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crew protecting system which can share a safety controlling unit. <P>SOLUTION: This crew protecting system 1 is equipped with a main control unit 2 having a main judging circuit 20 and a main driving signal outputting circuit 21, the safety control unit 3 having a safety judging circuit 30 and a safety driving signal outputting circuit 31, a driving IC 4 having a plurality of main switching elements 42 which are driven by a main driving signal, and a plurality of safety switching elements 43 which are driven by a safety driving signal. The main control unit 2 transfers switching element information of the main switching elements 42 which are driven depending on the collision state to the safety control unit 3.
