PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device in which first contact areas with occupants a left half side air bag and a right half side air bag are large.

SOLUTION: The tip sides of the connection parts 70 of the right half side air bag 12 and the left half side air bag 14 are bent in a direction separated from each other along a folding line A which is positioned along the connection part 70. The base end side of the folding line A is folded along the folding lines C midway between the connection part 70 and the base end side so that the folding lines C of the right half side air bag 12 and the left half side air bag 14 are separated from each other, and the folding line A is overlapped with a folding line B. The base end side of the folding line B is folded in a bellows shape to be formed in a vertically slender primary folded body 10A. The upper half side and the lower half side of the folded body 10A are secondarily folded to be formed in a final folded body.
