PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast wave automatic following device capable of appropriately responding to a change in the frequency of a broadcast wave. SOLUTION: A frequency change information extracting/analyzing part 123 of a broadcast wave automatic following processor 12 included in an H/E 1 extracts frequency change information (SDTT) included in a received broadcast signal. If a schedule for changing the frequency of a ground wave digital signal is shown in each SDTT, a tuner 121 of the broadcast wave automatic following processor 12 switches a frequency for receiving the ground wave digital signal to the frequency of a change destination to receive the ground wave digital signal. When the tuner 121 can correctly receive the ground wave digital signal, an interface 124 transmits, to each modulation conversion transmitter 11, a control signal for switching the frequency for receiving the ground wave digital signal with a tuner 111 to the frequency of a change destination.
