<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inject volatile liquid fuel such as LPG in a liquid condition stable under high temperature and improve high temperature restarting performance. <P>SOLUTION: An individual fuel injection system17 having an introduction conduit 12 introducing liquid fuel in a supply conduit 3 to a fuel injection valve 4 arranged on each intake manifold branch pipe and a feeding conduit 16 introducing surplus fuel to a return conduit 6 individually provided on each fuel injection valve 4 is arranged independently in parallel between the supply conduit 3 of liquid fuel pressurized by a fuel pump and the return conduit 6 returning surplus fuel to a fuel tank. Consequently, temperature rise of liquid fuel due to heat from an engine is reduced and gas phase fuel generation zone after engine stop is narrowed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
