IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND METHOD OF FORMING IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a sub-device to confirm an image forming condition and an output condition and to allow a master device and the sub-device to output image-formed materials having equal high quality in parallel by sharing the operation between the master device and the sub-device.

SOLUTION: This image forming system 100 performs in parallel an operation of an image forming job for a plurality of copies of image-formed materials based on an image forming condition and image information supplied from an information processor 130 by sharing the operation between a plurality of image forming apparatuses 110, 120. Each of image forming apparatuses 110, 120 connected with each other so as to facilitate bi-directional communication has a proof/wait selecting function for selecting a proof mode for outputting a single copy of an image-formed material or a wait mode for waiting by indicating an image forming condition. The operation for forming an image is performed according to the proof mode or the wait mode and the image forming condition and the image information are transferred to the other image forming apparatus.
