<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a touch panel which permits sensing by vibration of stable quality in the long term. <P>SOLUTION: In the touch panel 50, an upper substrate provided with a transparent electrode and laid-around electrodes 14, 15 on the lower face of a flexible and quadrate upper transparent insulating substrate 62, and a lower substrate provided with a transparent electrode, laid-around electrodes 4, 5 and dot spacers formed by a transparent resin on the upper face of a quadrate lower transparent insulating substrate 52 are opposed and placed, leaving a predetermined clearance, and the outer circumferential areas of the upper substrate and the lower substrate are bonded surroundedly with an insulative sealing material 67. On the upper substrate and the lower substrate, first frames 62a, 52a are provided which are extended and face the one side of a pair of opposed short sides.
