PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switch that enables object components to mutually be positioned in a short time with high precision to make an optical connection with low loss. SOLUTION: A 1st array assembly 12 comprises an input-side collimator array 14, a 1st package 16 mounted with a 1st mirror array 15, a package base 17 where the 1st package 16 is positioned and fixed, a couple of 1st base 18, etc. The input-side collimator array 14 and 1st base 18 are positioned by engaging a positioning hole 23 and a positioning pin 35 with each other, and fixed with a screw.
