PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil temperature controlling device for a vehicle that can reduce fuel consumption by reducing the fuel amount required for warming up and that can achieve cost reduction by using an existing power generator. SOLUTION: This device includes an oil temperature sensor 12 for detecting a temperature of engine oil within an engine body 1 of a vehicle, various driving condition signals for detecting that the vehicle is in a speed down state, an electric heater 11 provided to heat the engine oil, and an electronic controlling unit 10 for energizing surplus power of power generation by an alternator 8 when the engine oil temperature detected by the sensor 12 is equal or less than a predetermined temperature and the vehicle is in a speed-down state.
