PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid injection device which can easily remove obstacles piled at a liquid absorbing part such as an ink absorber. SOLUTION: The liquid injection device 100 includes a platen 130 for supporting a target P transferred by a carriage 110 in which a liquid injection head 101 for discharging a liquid is stored, and a feed roller 140 at a movement region of the carriage; and a liquid absorber for absorbing the liquid present at the rear face side of the target in a region opposite to a movement route of the carriage. The liquid injection device 100 has blades 111. The carriage can pass the blades 111 at a predetermined height over the liquid absorber in accordance with its movement.
