PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime prevention device which restrains an invasion. SOLUTION: In the crime prevention device, a sprinkler is used and the end part of a water introducing pipe 32 for introducing tap water is rotative. A nozzle 31 for the sprinkler is mounted on the tip of the water introducing pipe 32a. The water introducing pipe 32 is provided with an electromagnetic valve 33 for introducing or stopping water, and the water introducing pipe 32a is provided with a rotation device 40 for rotating the valve. Further, outside a housing 10, a sound collection sensor 11 for detecting a suspicious person and a suspicious person direction detecting device 20 in which a plurality of infrared sensors are circularly arranged toward the outside are provided. In the housing 10, a control device 50 for controlling each device is provided. When the suspicious person is detected, the control device 50 rotates the nozzle 31 for the sprinkler in the direction which the suspicious person direction detecting device 20 detects. In the crime prevention device, the electromagnetic valve 33 is opened and water is vigorously emitted from the nozzle 31 for the sprinkler.
