PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air-conditioning system having sufficient preheating operation with low noises and saved power. SOLUTION: An inverter device does not output an alternating current to a motor, and the inverter device mounted on a compressor generates heat to heat the compressor. In this construction, the motor is not energized (the alternating current is not supplied to the motor) and so no noise is generated. A DC power supply consumes power only when the inverter device generates heat to heat the compressor.
