PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary washing device, dispensing with medicine or a cleaning tool, and performing washing or bactericidal operation for an arbitrary portion in a toilet. SOLUTION: In this sanitary washing device, when washing water is supplied to an instantaneous heating device 33, the washing water is heated by the instantaneous heating device 33, and the heated washing water or steam generated by heating is supplied to a selector valve 16. The selector valve 16 supplies the heated washing water or steam to one of an injection gun 17 and a nozzle washing nozzle 3 according to a control signal given from a control part 4.
