PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current collection sliding material which combines excellent wear resistance and lubricity. SOLUTION: The current collection sliding material made of a sintered alloy consisting of V, Cr, metal sulfide, and Fe is obtained by subjecting a powdery mixture having a composition in which the total content of V and Cr is 1 to 30 wt.%, and comprising 1 to 12 wt.% metal sulfide, and the balance Fe to compacting and sintering.
