PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work conveyor between presses or for a transfer press which can promote energy saving by reducing a load of lift driving and which can realize the simplification of a structure and the improvement of productivity. SOLUTION: The work conveyor between the presses or for the transfer press is so constituted that it is provided with at least a pair of main beams 21 provided apart at a prescribed interval, feed carriers 22 supported freely movably along the main beams 21, a lift carrier 23 supported freely movably along the feed carriers 22, and a crossbar 24 supported by an elevating/lowering means 23A provided to the lift carrier 23 and having a work holding means 241. The crossbar 24 is vertically driven by the vertical movement of the elevating/lowering means 23A. Accordingly, the weight to be lift-driven is significantly reduced and the load acting on the elevating/lowering means is reduced.
