IMAGE CAPTURING SYSTEM CAPABLE OF OBTAINING STABILIZED IMAGE AND STABILIZING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An image capturing system capable of obtaining a stabilized image and a stabilizing method of the system are provided to obtain an image stabilized for a temperature variation and RF vibration without increasing the volume of the system. CONSTITUTION: An image capturing system includes a solid-state imaging device(412) for converting an image of an object into an electric signal, a vibration sensor(424) for outputting an electric signal in response to vertical and horizontal vibrations of the system body, a memory(424-4) for storing an image captured by the solid-state imaging device, and a hybrid motion detector(424-5). The hybrid motion detector integrates the vertical and horizontal vibration signals transmitted from the vibration sensor for a predetermined time period to produce a motion vector of the object and projects two-dimensional field/frame video data captured by the solid-state imaging device into horizontal and vertical projection data. The system further includes an image controller(426) that compares horizontal and vertical projection data, obtained by shifting horizontal and vertical projection data of the current field/frame with by the motion vector, with previous horizontal and vertical projection data and carries out image correction in response to the difference between the two data items.
