PURPOSE: A pickup device of an optical disk driver is provided to effectively emit heat generated from a laser diode through a heat sink, thereby preventing an output of the laser diode from deteriorating while preventing an aberrational increase caused by a frequency change. CONSTITUTION: A swing arm is pivot-coupled with an optical disk driver for rotation. A base substrate(150) is installed on the swing arm. A laser diode(153) is installed on one side of the base substrate(150) in bear chip state. One end of a flexible PCB(20) is connected to the base substrate(150), and the other end thereof is connected to a main substrate of the optical disk driver, to transmit a signal for controlling the laser diode(153). A heat sink(210) consists of a contact surface(210a) attached to an opposite side of a surface where the laser diode(153) is installed, and a heating surface(210b) being opposite to the contact surface(210a).
