<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power reduction system capable of determining precisely power reduction effect, when reducing power of power load equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The monitor signal acquired by monitoring power consumption, using a watthour meter 32 for power load equipment containing a plurality of apparatus 40, to which a power is supplied is collected by communication between a control terminal 13 and each apparatus 40 connected to a control part 20 via a HUB11, PBX12, and telephone circuit 13. A control signal is transmitted to each apparatus 40 by the behavior of a communication unit 21, basic unit 22, and power unit 23 contained in the control part 20. The operation of each apparatus 40 is controlled by opening/closing control with a relay 24, in accordance with a prescribed control pattern; the controlled state is released for a given period, to provide a control-released state; and the power consumption of the controlled state and the control-released state is extracted, to decide on the power reduction effect for the power load equipment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
