OXYGEN PUMPING DEVICE AND OXYGEN PUMPING APPARATUS ON WHICH OXYGEN PUMPING DEVICE IS LOADED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen pumping device in which the electric resistance of an electrode membrane is reduced to effectively fulfill the function of the whole electrode surface and the close contactness of the electrode membrane is improved and to provide an oxygen pumping apparatus capable of efficiently transferring heat from a heating means to the oxygen pumping devcie to reduce power necessary for heating.

SOLUTION: The electrode membranes of 2 layers of a 1st electrode membrane 22 containing a metal oxide and a 2nd electrode membrane 23 containing a metallic particle on the 1st electrode membrane 22 are formed on a cathode electrode side of an oxygen ion conductive substrate 21 and the electrode membrane 24 of one layer containing at least one kind of a metal oxide and a metal particle is formed in an anode electrode side. As a result, the contactness of the electrode membrane is improved and the electrode reaction and reliance durability are enhanced.
