<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a circular recess in the midst of a brake pedal of an automobile, to form a belt-shaped protrusion on the top of an accelerator pedal, to make hard to confuse the accelerator pedal with the brake pedal in order to ensure safe and proper drive of automobile, to make hard to slip even if the brake pedal is wet, and further, even if a driver operates the accelerator pedal for a long time, to make him or her hardly fatigued. <P>SOLUTION: A circular recess is formed in the midst of the brake pedal so that driver's shoes come into contact with the edge of circular depth, thereby making them hard to slip.
