PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconductive magnet device that reduces refrigeration load to an external refrigerating machine by preventing or suppressing heat from entering the device when changing a switch in shifting to a permanent current mode and that rapidly performs the switching operation. SOLUTION: Although a thermal superconductive switch 41 arranged at a low-temperature region and a mechanical switch 42 arranged at a middle-temperature region are turned on when shifting to a permanent current mode in the superconductive magnet device 1, it is not necessary to cool to an extremely low temperature in re-cooling even if a thermal load via a drive mechanism 60 is generated since the mechanical switch 42 is arranged at a middle-temperature region. More specifically, since heat generation at the contact of the mechanical switch 42 and heat entry from the drive mechanism 60 are loaded to the middle-temperature region instead of the low-temperature region, the external refrigerating machine easily absorbs the thermal load and reduces the capacity of the refrigerating machine.
