PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile telephone capable of reducing layout of power cables between a first box body portion and a second box body portion, optimizing the conditions for reduction in size and thickness, and eliminating need for a power supply circuit in the second box body portion. SOLUTION: This mobile telephone generates a transmit wave, superimposes DC voltage on the transmission wave to be a DC superimposed transmission wave and to be outputted by the first box body portion 1, and transmits the DC superimposed transmission wave outputted by the first box body portion 1 through a coaxial cable 3. The second box body portion 2 receives the DC superimposed transmission wave through the coaxial cable 3, takes out the DC voltage from the DC superimposed transmission wave, uses the DC voltage as voltage for a circuit preset in the second box body portion 2, and takes out the transmission wave from the DC superimposed transmission wave to send the transmit wave out to an antenna 4.
