PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in a conventional governor device wherein much labor is required for working and the device cannot be easily manufactured because a hole for supporting a shaft is required to be perforated from a side direction of a governor weight support part with a gimlet or the like so as to rotatably and pivotally support a governor weight with the shaft. SOLUTION: In the governor device 11 transmitting rotation of a crankshaft 3 to a governor gear 22 and having the governor weight 24 on the governor gear 22, a receiving part 27 of the shaft for pivotally supporting the governor weight 24 is formed on a governor gear 22 side face. The device comprises a first protrusion 27a in which the receiving part 27 protrudes from the governor gear 22 side face and a recessed curved surface is formed on the end surface thereof, and a second protrusion 27b having a recessed sectional view opened on the opposite face of the governor gear.
