PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display driver, an electro-optical device and a driving method capable of preventing generation of streak display unevenness, etc. SOLUTION: The display driver comprises a coder generator 10 which generates a pseudo random number sequence by a liner feedback shift register LFSR, a signal generator 20 which generates field selection signals F1, F2 for changing a selection order of fields at random by receiving a random number sequence to be outputted to taps Q3, Q4 of the LFSR and a scanning driver which selectively drives a scanning line by a multi-line driving method by outputting a scanning signal corresponding to a field to be selected by the field selection signals F1, F2 to the scanning line. In a field counter FDCT, K bit of data of which each bit is constituted by the random number sequence from K taps is set as its load value and increment or decrement of a counted value is performed.
