PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle capable of reducing display images and highly enlarging a virtual image compatibly at low cost. SOLUTION: In the display device 1 for a vehicle, an image of a display 3 is projected to a wind shield 5 through an enlargement mirror 4 to be displayed in the virtual image. The image of the display 3 provided such that a masking mask 33 forming a peripheral edge shape of of the image is previously distorted is formed to an approximate rectangular shape.
