PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a hanging position of a hook without changing the length from the center of a reel to the end of the hook of a moving portion in a single point hanging device. SOLUTION: A wire holding portion 7 for fixing a hanging wire 2 with the reel 10 is provided at a moving portion 6. When a hanging position of the moving portion 6 is moved, the hanging wire 2 is fixed with the reel 10 by the wire holding portion 7 to move the moving portion 6 to a predetermined hanging position, and after the moving portion is moved the wire holding portion 7 is released to return the hanging wire 2 and the reel 10 to a turnable state. Thus, the length L from the center of the reel 10 to the end of the hook 1 of the moving portion 6 is not changed before and after the movement to eliminate operation for correcting a current position of the end of the hook 1 after the moving portion 6 is moved.
