PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof material which has unprecedented workability, and wherein a waterproof function, a heat insulating function, an anti-dew-condensation function, etc., are formed. SOLUTION: This roof material A comprises a waterproof piece 13 formed by protruding an upstream-side leading end of decorative facing 4 upward, a fitting piece 13a formed by protruding a leading end of the waterproof piece 13 to an upstream side, a fixing piece 15 formed by protruding the leading end of the decorative facing 4 to the upstream side, a step facing 6 formed by hanging a lowermost-side leading end of the decorative facing 4 downward, the deepest piece 8 formed by protruding the vicinity of the leading end of the decorative facing 4 downward, and an insertion piece 9 formed by protruding a leading end of the deepest piece 8 is protruded to the downstream side.
