CONDUCTIVE POLYPYRROLE THIN FILM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing effectively a polymer thin film of high quality and of high conductivity by a dry process without using any solvent, and to provide a conductive polymer thin film and uses etc. of the same. SOLUTION: The highly electroconductive and homogeneous polymer thin film having a high density is produced by introducing a dopant such as an alkyl benzene sulfonic acid etc. under a vacuum atmosphere into a thin film prepared by a plasma polymerization of pyrrole.The conductive thin film produced by this method and a conductive member containing the conductive thin film as a component have a conductivity of at least 10-6Scm-1measured at room temperature under air, and these are used for a member of chemical sensors such as VOC gas sensor etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
