The device is assembled of two metal parts. The lower part comprises four bent spikes (c) arranged in a cubical shape and a straight spike (c) positioned in the center for being pushed into the soil. The upper part is designed as a shaft with an opening (a) at the top for joining the spring fastener attached to the collar of a small dog. Both parts are joined by an elastic segment made of a helical spring (b), avoiding a sudden jerk of the shaft when the dog tries to run away.
