The round stirring rod, to stir water and alter its characteristics in a cup of tea or coffee, is in two parts with an outer shell of fine steel and a cylindrical permanent magnet within it. The magnet is welded in place with a corrosion-resistant shrouding. The stirring rod has a diameter of 8 mm and a length of 130 mm.
