<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach and detach a seal part of a rotary furnace heating treatment device. <P>SOLUTION: The seal part 13 of the rotary furnace heating treatment device is composed of a gland packing 4 engaging with the outer periphery of a rotary furnace 8, a packing engaging part 14b provided in an exhaust box 14 to engage with outer end of the gland packing 4, a packing chamber frame 21 surrounding an outer peripheral side of the gland packing 4, divided freely in the peripheral direction, and connected with the packing engaging part 14b, and a packing retainer 25 connected with the packing chamber frame 21 to press the gland packing 4 in the packing chamber frame 21 outward in the axial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
