<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of a fuel cell with less deterioration of fuel cell performance even when the fuel cell works for a long period of time, and to provide an operation system which makes such operation method possible. <P>SOLUTION: The operation method includes a hydrogen peroxide densitometry step in that the hydrogen peroxide density which is contained at least one of fuel electrode side generation gas ejected from the fuel electrode, fuel electrode side recycled water, oxygen electrode side generation gas ejected from the oxygen electrode and oxygen electrode side recycled water, a determination step in that it is determined whether the hydrogen peroxide density which is measured in the hydrogen peroxide densitometry step is not more than a prescribed upper limit value, and an operation condition control step in that the operation condition of the fuel cell is controlled so that formation of the hydrogen peroxide is suppressed when the hydrogen peroxide density value exceeds the upper limit value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
