<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip processing system in which the consistency between the data inputted in a window terminal and the data of a slip processed in a slip management device is checked without burdening an operator and the possibility of delaying a processing owing to input mistake is eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: This slip management device takes in a payment slip processed by the window terminal from an insertion port, and reads data including an acceptance number from the payment slip by an optical character reading part. Then, the slip management device executes the recognition processing of the payment slip, and receives the fare adjustment data of the pertinent payment slip according to the acceptance number from the window terminal, and checks the consistency between the received fare adjustment result and the reading/recognition result of the payment slip.
