<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wippen for a grand piano in which both high rigidity and light weight are provided while easing stress concentration, sufficient sound volume of the piano is obtained and action responsiveness and characteristics in repetitive hitting are improved. <P>SOLUTION: The wippen is provided with a main body section 2 that has a jack fulcrum 5, to which a jack 63 is mounted in a freely rotative manner, at a front tip part and has a point to be supported 6 which is supported in a freely rotative manner at a back tip part, a heel section 3 which is projected toward the bottom direction from the section 2 and is pushed up by a push up point 3d, front and back shifting sections 8 and 9 which are respectively provided between the front and the back sections of the section 2 and the section 3 and have bottom surfaces 8a and 9a that are extended in a slanted straight line manner and a recessed section 7 which is provided on the side surface over the sections 2 and 3. The surfaces 8a and 9a of the sections 8 and 9 are respectively arranged in an approximately parallel manner with respect to the line which connects the fulcrum 5 and the point 3d and the line which connects the points 6 and 3d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
