<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pyrolytic treating method for pyrolytically treating a woody waste containing harmful arsenic (As) to be recycled without bringing about environmental load by properly treating CCA (Cr, Cu and As-based) woody waste into which Cr, Cu and As are injected. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of pyrolytically treating a waste wood contained in building waste, a sulfur-containing substance is supplied along with the CCA woody waste in which Cr, Cu and As are injected to pyrolytically treat the woody waste.
