<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for measuring swing speeds capable of acquiring not only swing speeds in a section while an implement such as a golf club is swung but also information on whether part of the implement is in an accelerating state or in a decelerating state in the section. <P>SOLUTION: The swing speed measuring apparatus 1 is provided with light emitting parts 2a-2c and light receiving parts 3a-3c which form a plurality of measuring parts capable of measuring the swing speeds of the implement; an operation part 4 connected to the light emitting parts 2a-2c and the light receiving parts 3a-3c and capable of computing its speeds when the implement passes the plurality of measuring parts; and a display part 5 connected to the operation part 4 and capable of displaying information outputted from the operation part 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
