<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front suspension device for an automobile capable of preventing the deterioration of a steering feeling caused by the deformation of an electric power steering device by reinforcing a fitting part of the electric power steering device to a suspension cross member by a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: Four fitting seats 110 are formed on the front surface of the suspension cross member 1 constituting a front suspension device 10 of a vehicle V. A power unit 2 and a reinforcing plate 3 ahead of it are clamped to each other and fixed to the fitting seat 110. Extension parts 32 are protruded from both sides of the reinforcing plate 3, and the end 320 thereof is fixed to the lower surface of a front side frame of the vehicle V. Deformations of the power steering unit 2 and the suspension cross member 1 by lateral forces from wheels are prevented by the reinforcing part 3, and the steering feeling as desired can be secured in the power steering unit 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
