PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an image display panel by which such phenomena are eliminated, that particles are caught in a position where two substrates are superposed on each other, that the particles are scattered and that particle group layers are deviated, which are generated when the two substrates are superposed on each other after particle groups are disposed in a plurality of cells formed by partition walls on the one substrate. SOLUTION: After the inner parts of a plurality of the cells 5 formed with the partition walls 4 on the one substrate 1 are filled up with the particles (a powdery fluid) 3, before the other substrate 2 is superposed on the substrate 1, the particles (the powdery fluid) put on the tops of the partition walls 4 are removed by transferring the particles between respective rollers by using a particle removing device (a powdery fluid removing device) 21 formed by contact placing one or more cleaning rollers 24 on a particle removing roller (a powdery fluid removing roller) 23, and then the substrates 1 and 2 are superposed on each other.
