THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION FOR FOAMING AND ITS FOAMED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition for foaming with a high expansion ratio and a uniform foam structure, and its foamed product. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition for foaming comprises (a) 45-99.9 wt.% thermoplastic resin, (b) 0.1-50 wt.% powdered or fibrous porous filler, and (c) 0-10 wt.% melt tension modifier. The foamed product is obtained by foaming this thermoplastic resin composition for foaming. Since addition of the porous filler to the thermoplastic resin improves the impregnating properties of a melt resin with a blowing agent and the porous filler simultaneously acts as a nucleating agent, a high expansion ratio and a uniform foamed structure van be obtained.
