PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector for a fighting sport, which protects not only the face and the rear head portion but also the head top portion. SOLUTION: The protector 1 for a fighting sport is formed of a face mask portion 2 located on a face side of the wearer, and a head protective pad 3 connected to the face mask portion 2 and extending from the front head portion of the wearer or the vicinity of the same via the head top portion or the vicinity of the same to the rear head portion. The face mask portion 2 has side head pads 5, a jaw pad 6, and a forehead pad 7. A pair of rear side ends of the face mask portion 2 are connected together via a length adjustable first connector, and a rear head protective portion of the head protective pad 3 and the jaw pad 6 are connected together via a length adjustable second connector.
