PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the safety of a mower by inactivating a drive mechanism for driving a mowing blade when a working part having the mowing blade is bent at an angle to superpose to an operation handle. SOLUTION: This mower for the safety device is provided with a working part to drive the mowing blade with the drive mechanism and the operation handle having a transmission mechanism to transmit the power of an engine to the drive mechanism, wherein the working part is bonded to the operation handle in a bendable manner. A drive inactivating mechanism to inactivate the drive mechanism when the working part and the operation handle are within a prescribed bend angle range is placed between the working part and the operation handle.
