A process converts organic particles to feed pellets for animal consumption. The ingredients (1) are brought together and mixed (2), followed by the preparation (2a) and admixture (4) of a bonding agent. The resulting mass is then converted to pellets (6) by a press. Also claimed is a commensurate assembly for the preparation and production of the pellets. The bonding agent is e.g. starch. A typical recipe would include sugar beet, propionic acid, soya, tricitical, palm core, rape, sliced molasses, corn gluten feed, wheat starch, bakery residues, malt, calcium and vitamins. |
