<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculation EGR mechanism by communicating an intake passage with an exhaust passage without using a tube, and to provide an exhaust gas recirculation device for an engine reducing cost by allowing easy processing. <P>SOLUTION: In an engine 1 having the mechanism for recirculating a part of exhaust gas to an intake side, a communicating hole 6c is opened on a wall provided between an exhaust port 6b and an intake port 6a of a cylinder head 6, and the communicating hole 6c is formed in a vertical oblique direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
