<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device having an improved constitution for anomaly monitoring and power supply interruption. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply device is constituted so that a following operation takes place: an operation detecting unit which detects an electrical leak, an overcurrent, an overvoltage, and various other abnormal states related to a temperature and the like. Based on the detection information, an anomaly monitoring unit outputs a signal to a reset switch drive circuit to turn off a reset switch. If an anomaly occurs, an input from an AC power supply to the power supply device is thereby interrupted. Power to the operation detecting unit, the anomaly monitoring unit and the like is outputted from a power circuit provided in the power supply device. For example, the power to the operation detecting unit, the anomaly-monitoring unit and the like is supplied from the transformer in a power circuit for standby. By this constitution, safety is ensured, an independent power supply for the operation detecting unit and the like need not be provided, and thus cost reduction and energy saving are attained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
