The aerodynamic filament guide, for cooling melt-spun polymer micro-filaments, has an upper (7) and a lower (9) guide ring, with an air guide sleeve (8) between them. The upper guide ring gathers the micro-filaments (3) extruded through the capillary drillings (2) in the spinneret (1), to support them and suppress any oscillation. The diameter of the guide rings is 0.6-10.0 mm larger than the diameter of the air guide sleeve, and preferably 1.6-3.0 mm larger.
